Local was born from a love of Cape Cod’s close-knit community, where neighbors know each other by name and every season brings its own pace to the coast. It was built on friendship, curiosity, and a shared love for the places that shape us.
Owners, Ashley and Brian met as kids in their Cape Cod neighborhood. What started as a lifelong friendship eventually grew into a shared dream: to build something of their own. In 2025, that dream became reality.
Local began as a brand rooted in Cape Cod. It was inspired by the water, the pace of life, and the sense of home that comes with growing up by the coast. But as Ashley and Brian traveled, lived in new places, and experienced different environments, the brand evolved. Inspiration came from everywhere; cities, coastlines, quiet moments, and everyday routines.
Today, Local is about more than where it started. It’s about how places leave their mark on us. While their roots will always matter, Ashley and Brian continue to find themselves shaped by their surroundings... wherever they are.
